Dear Parents/Guardian

Your child’s attendance in school is highly important.  Regular attendance, encouraged by a parent, sets a tone that school is meaningful; it instills a pattern of responsibility; and being present for learning makes learning easier.

WIth this in mind, it is my desire that all students are present at school every day. Naturally, there are illnesses, appointments, and other coincidences that will require an absence.  I would like to encourage you to schedule appointments outside of the school day to minimize absences and not let the little things be a roadblock to attendance.

Our students can achieve success in learning, which translates to future success as an adult; but that starts with being present and putting forth good effort.  Please, have your child at school daily, prepared and present.
