The Ranger High School Homecoming Pep Rally will be Friday at 2:50 PM in the High School Gym. The Ranger community is invited. It is strongly recommended to RSVP by calling the school. This will speed up your sign time before the pep rally. If you do not RSVP in advance, you are encouraged to arrive early. Everyone must have a visitor's pass...no exceptions.

Fridays are for Football!!!

Due to a water leak, Ranger ISD is closing at 1:00 today. Busses will run at those times. Parents may pick up their children. Licensed drivers are permitted to take siblings home. Our apologies for the inconvenience.

No phones, no problem! The first positive effect of no phones at school is the increased socialization at lunch.

A truer statement has never been said…we were so happy to see all the faces at Meet the Teacher on Tuesday night. Introductions were made. So many learned about the positive attributes of a solid parent/school relationship. Our new cell phone policies were demonstrated. And The WoodBridge Church came through in a massive way by providing school supplies for all elementary students. Thanks to all that attended. Doors open at 7:15 Thursday morning, and every school day after that.

ATTENDANCE MATTERS!

Ranger ISD is starting a PK class for three year olds this year, so to keep the littles safe, we want to make sure everybody is aware of the minor changes to our morning drop off. Students in PK4 - 1th grades will be dropped off at the normal main entrance (orange star on the map). PK 3 students will be dropped of at the far east entrance (red star on the map). All car riders will be picked up at the main entrance in the afternoon. Thanks for your cooperation and keeping students safe.

We're just about ready to "Twist and Shout" in to the new school year. Come to the Ranger ISD Meet the Teacher on Tuesday, August 6.
